The Kazakhstan International Tourism Fair (KITF) will take place from 24 to 26 April 2013 in pavilions 10 and 11 of the Atakent Exhibition Centre, Almaty.
As the most eagerly-anticipated tourism event in Central Asia, KITF is set to welcome over 7,500 visitors, as trade professionals from around the world showcase a full spectrum of the latest travel products and services- the world's top resorts, stylish hotels, ideal flight options and exclusive travel offers.
KITF combines the b2b, b2c and a b2g (business to government) format, giving the event a true universal appeal. As such, KITF participates can look forward to expanding business and agency links, attracting end customers, and networking with national tourist boards. Furthermore, exhibitors at KITF can make direct sales and bookings, acquire first-hand information, and gain new clients with the prize draw promotions organised for the second day of the event.
International countries will be well represented at the event. Viktoria Karatsupa, Exhibition Manager, states, "The following national groups have confirmed their participation so far: Georgia, India, Spain (Catalonia), China, Malaysia, the UAE (Dubai), Thailand, Turkey, Sri Lanka, South Korea and Azerbaijan. Our Caspian neighbours will present resorts for the first time in many years, and the Government of Sochi will take part as usual. There will be a large presentation of Kazakhstan's tourism opportunities from the Ministry of Tourism's stand and the stands of all the regional tourism departments in the National Tourism Organisations pavilion. Some of KITF's main aims are to showcase tourism in Kazakhstan and to attract foreign tourism organisations and companies to work to increase tourist flow between countries."
An increasing popular section of the show is KITF's medical and health tourism area, which has expanded considerably this year. Germany and South Korea will be well represented by clinics, hospitals and agencies. In addition, clinics from Turkey, the Czech Republic, Thailand and Kazakhstan will also exhibit.
