Medicine and travel is a union for health
One of the key areas of the exhibition will be «Theraupeutic and Medical Tourism» section, which will bring together representatives from 13 countries: Bulgaria, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and South Korea. Participants will present modern approaches to treatment, prevention and restoration of health, as well as unique formats of health tours.
Guests of the section will have access to a wide range of options: health resort treatment, climatic and balneotherapeutic health resorts, SPA & Wellness services, diagnostic and rehabilitation programs. This is a rare opportunity to personally communicate with representatives of leading clinics and resorts, compare conditions, ask questions and even plan your next health trip.
Panel session: Synergy of Medicine and Tourism
One of the highlights will be a panel session on the topic:
«Medical tourism ecosystem: how to combine medicine, hospitality and logistics? Where are the boundaries between treatment, service and data?»
Leading experts in the field of medical tourism, including representatives of Ensana and the Kazakhstan Medical Tourism Association, will take part in the discussion. Participants will discuss how a comfortable and effective environment for a patient-tourist is formed: from choosing a clinic to transfer, accommodation and subsequent support.
Kazakhstan is a new point of attraction on the health map
Kazakhstan is confidently among the promising areas in the medical tourism market. According to the Medical Tourism Association, in 2023 the number of foreign patients exceeded 5,000 people, which is four times more than the year before. The most popular areas were cardiac surgery, orthopedics, dentistry and plastic surgery.
The country’s clinics, especially in Astana and Almaty, are equipped with high-tech equipment that meets international standards. More than 2,000 foreign patients received medical care in UMC holding institutions alone last year.
