FlyArystan Named Best Low-Cost Airline in the Region Once Again
Kazakhstan’s low-cost airline FlyArystan has once again been awarded the prestigious title of “Best Low-Cost Airline in Central Asia and the CIS”, following the results of the Skytrax World Airline Awards held in June 2024 in the United Kingdom.
Since launching operations in 2019, FlyArystan has shown rapid growth and a commitment to innovation. In 2022, the airline introduced iJan self-service terminals at Almaty International Airport, allowing passengers to check in, drop off baggage, and purchase additional services independently—saving time and enhancing service quality. These terminals are now available in 14 cities across Kazakhstan.
In 2024, the airline rolled out the Baggage Drop Off (BagJan) technology at Almaty Airport, enabling passengers to check in luggage without staff assistance—further speeding up the process. This aligns with the company’s mission:
“Driven by customer needs, we continually innovate to remain a profitable low-cost carrier that people trust and enjoy flying with.”
FlyArystan will share its upcoming plans, new routes, and innovations at the upcoming KITF 2025 exhibition, taking place from April 23 to 25, 2025, at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty. This event will provide an opportunity to showcase its achievements and build new partnerships in the tourism industry.
