FlyArystan Obtains Air Operator Certificate and Its Own IATA Code – FS

Kazakhstan’s first low-cost airline, FlyArystan, continues to grow rapidly and strengthen its presence in the international aviation market. In 2024, the airline received its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, confirming compliance with high safety and service quality standards. This milestone also allowed FlyArystan to obtain its unique IATA code – FS, opening up new opportunities for international cooperation and route expansion.

Since its launch in 2019, FlyArystan has followed the classic low-cost carrier model, offering affordable airfares with optional add-on services. The airline operates modern Airbus A320 aircraft, connecting cities across Kazakhstan. It also actively develops international destinations, flying to Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

FlyArystan will present its further development strategy and network expansion plans at the 23rd Kazakhstan International Tourism & Travel Exhibition (KITF 2025), which will be held from April 23 to 25, 2025, in Almaty at the Atakent Expo Center. Participation in this event will allow the airline to showcase its innovations and services to a broad audience.
