Baitak Zher project will be presented at the Kazakhstan exhibition.
The Eurasia Foundation Central Asia, in partnership with Chevron, will present the Baitak Zher project at the Tourism and Travel exhibition - KITF 2024.
The Baitak Zher project is a unique Kazakhstani project for the development of ethno-, eco- and agro-tourism, created in 2022 by the Eurasia Foundation Central Asia in partnership with Chevron.
The project program is designed for rural entrepreneurs of the Akmola region: farmers, gastorators, artisans, organizers of horse riding tours, educational and sports events, owners of recreation centers, social entrepreneurs and businessmen involved in the revival and popularization of Kazakh national culture.
Over the two seasons of the project, about 100 entrepreneurs took part in the Baitak Zher special educational program. And 15 projects of entrepreneurs received tracking from experts and financial support for business development from Baitak Zher in the form of interest-free loans in the amount of 1-7 million KZT for a period of 2 years.
At the same time, the project team created maps with description of local sightseeing attractions in the Zerendinsky, Sandyktau and Korgaldzhyn districts, free online courses for entrepreneurs and makes a great contribution to the promotion of domestic tourism, covering industry news on its resources and partners’ resources, as well as recording its own podcast.
