KAZAKHSTAN AMENDS REGULATIONS ON VISA ISSUANCE TO FOREIGN NATIONALS

Obtaining a visa for Kazakhstan has become easier.

For example, now it can be officially issued electronically without leaving home. The rules for registering invitations were also changed.

The authorities decided to expand the list of countries whose citizens can get single-entry business visas, tourist visas and medical treatment visas online. It includes 109 states. Another alteration is that the crossing of the State Border of Kazakhstan will be carried out at all international airports of the country.

In addition, according to the amendments, former Kazakh citizens will be able to obtain multiple-entry visas for private travel for up to three years. As for investors, they will be able to stay in Kazakhstan for three to five years. Experts determined the procedure for obtaining visas by investment residents of the Astana International Financial Center. From now on, there is no need to submit an application to different authorities in order to hire business immigrants. It has been canceled. Procedure for changing the categories of visas is easy now, for example, from work visa to the Family Reunion visa. The restriction on the extension of visas for foreigners carrying out missionary work in Kazakhstan was cancelled. However, the written consent of the authorized body will still be required.
