Welcome Letters 2019
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
On behalf of the Embassy of Malaysia in the Republic of Kazakhstan, I would like to welcome all participants and visitors to the 19th Kazakhstan International Tourism and Travel Fair (KITF) 2019. Malaysia is proud and honoured to participate once again this year and our support is a testament to our country’s commitment to attracting more travelers to Malaysia from Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
In fact, the official opening of the Tourism Malaysia office in April 2015 demonstrates our interest in promoting Malaysia to not only Kazakhstan, but also other Central Asian countries like Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, which we view as important emerging markets for Malaysia with strong prospects for developing better tourism relations.
As such, we believe KITF is a wonderful platform for us to reach out and network with Kazakhstan and Central Asia tourism industry players.
We believe that Malaysia can offer tourists from this market a unique, memorable and value-for-money holidays with affordable shopping for diverse products and brands, visa-free travel, variety of tours, natural beauty, sun and beaches, delicious food, comfort and convenience for Muslim tourists and friendliness of the locals.
Our participation this year is timely as we prepare for the Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign – a significant year in which Malaysia targets to attract 30 million tourists.
We hope that our presence at KITF this year will help boost interest in Malaysia and strengthen our presence in this market. We look forward to serving our partners here better and giving complete assurance of our commitment to tourism growth.
Syed Bakri
