Ladies and gentlemen!

On behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I am glad to welcome participants and guests of the 21st Kazakhstan International Tourism Exhibition “Tourism and Travel” - KITF 2023, which will be held in the southern capital of the country, in Almaty!

This is a significant business event in the field of tourism, which annually gathers all professionals of the Kazakhstani and border tourism markets represented by exhibitors and visitors of the platform. More than 250 leading companies and national departments representing various tourist destinations perform with stands. Visiting the exhibition annually is a must for more than 5,000 industry professionals. In the international calendar of exhibition events, KITF has long been in the TOP 5 key events in the tourism industry, which is a high indicator in the MICE segment and the country’s business orientation.

In our country, tourism has always been and remains an important segment of dynamic social and economic development. For the successful functioning of the subjects of the industry, effective projects of state regulation and support are being introduced and improved annually.

The KITF format international exhibition opens up additional opportunities for the development of the industry as a whole and its individual segments. Every year, the Tourism and Travel platform demonstrates steady growth and is a tool for the development of domestic tourism. Only during the exhibition, Almaty meets more than 5,000 thousand professionals from all regions of Kazakhstan, as well as near and far abroad. They can be supplemented by representatives of about 500 exhibitors - representatives of participating companies, including more than 20 official delegations that come annually to Kazakhstan and Almaty in particular.

All regions of Kazakhstan take part in the exhibition every year, presenting the richest potential and achievements of domestic tourism in the international arena. Thanks to the extensive exposition and bright visual presentation of Kazakhstan within the framework of a single concept of a common national stand, the level of competitiveness of the Kazakhstani tourism product is growing dynamically.
